Challenge:
The Food Domain was created as a food resource for the people of Michigan. The Michigan State University (MSU) Voices and Visions for Food and Food Safety Project wanted a site created to make information in a large database available to the consumers and members of the food industry concerning health and food issues. The site was to feature a custom database that would navigate MSU food-related websites, as well as MSU and MSUE personnel.
Solution:
Agate Software is developing an easy-to-navigate website as well as a functional database that will allow users to browse MSU food-related websites quickly and easily. The personnel database will make this site unique because it allows users to search for personnel as resources when specifying criteria based on skills and knowledge about topics.
